2025-01-01T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) https://produccioncientificaluz.org./index.php/fronesis/article/view/43226Keynes and the Keynesian revolution: its impact on economic science and the philosophy of economics2025-01-08T19:43:00+00:00Elita Luisa Rincón Castilloelitarincon@yahoo.com
The history of macroeconomics is the history of economic science, although it is true that, in most textbooks, the birth of the so-called modern macroeconomics is identified with the date of publication, 1936, of the General Theory of Economics. occupation, interest and money of John Maynard Keynes, which gave rise to the so-called “Keynesian revolution.” This article aims to analyze the thoughts of Keynes and the Keynesian revolution, as well as the implications for economic science and the philosophy of economics. Keynes is an important figure in the history of economic thought, he has stirred the waters of politics and economic analysis. Keynes was an interesting economist. There is at least a minimal legacy. It is the legacy of an interest in, and an orientation towards, a restoration of macroeconomic theory and the consequent policy that interests both within and outside the professional discipline of economics. Keynes did not live to see the massive influence of his ideas, but politicians, economists, taxpayers, and historians of economic thought have. In this sense, Keynes removed the economic ideas of his time.
2025-01-01T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) https://produccioncientificaluz.org./index.php/fronesis/article/view/43227Political satire and dissent towards constituted power in George Orwell's “Animal Farm”2025-01-08T19:52:56+00:00Guillermo Roamemoroag3@agmail.com
The purpose of this research is to analyze the political satire and dissent to power constituted based on the work rebellion Farm author George Orwell, as an expression of the ambiguity of political discourse for the production, control and perpetuation of power. The purpose of the study was to provide law enforcement officers with the necessary information regarding the use of firearms in police procedures that result in deaths or injuries. This knowledge is essential to ensure that police actions are conducted within the legal framework and in compliance with the principles of progressive and rational use of force. The research is based on a qualitative approach, involving the review of relevant information and judicial decisions related to the use of lethal force in police procedures. The study concludes that police actions should be protected by the State. To achieve this, it is recommended that in cases where the use of force results in deaths or injuries, the immediate filing of charges should be avoided until a thorough investigation has been conducted to determine whether the action adhered to the principles of progressive, proportional, and rational use of force.
2025-01-01T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) https://produccioncientificaluz.org./index.php/fronesis/article/view/43263Impact of the Inter-American Commission of Women on Public Policies and Institutional Practices to Prioritize Intercultural Dialogue2025-01-14T17:33:48+00:00María Leonela Rodríguez Alvaradoleonelarodriguezz@hotmail.com
The general objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of the Inter- American Commission of Women (CIM) on the formulation, implementation, and effectiveness of public policies with a gender perspective in the Americas, analyzing its contribution to intercultural dialogue and the promotion of substantive equality in diverse cultural contexts. The research adopts a qualitative approach based on the documentary review of reports, international conventions, and relevant academic literature. A critical analysis of theoretical perspectives proposed by authors such as Amartya Sen, Luigi Ferrajoli, and Martha Nussbaum is conducted, complemented by an intersectional approach to identify patterns of exclusion and discrimination. The findings suggest that in a regional context marked by structural inequalities and cultural resistance, the work of the CIM stands out as a crucial effort to advance gender equality. However, to maximize its impact, it is essential for member states to strengthen their commitment to the effective implementation of the policies promoted by the CIM. This requires sufficient resources, political will, and an approach that combines cultural sensitivity with firmness in the defense of universal rights. The CIM still has a long way to go, but its contribution to building more just and equitable societies serves as a reminder that change, although slow, is inevitable when pursued with persistence and transformative vision.
2025-01-01T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) https://produccioncientificaluz.org./index.php/fronesis/article/view/43264The theorized interrelation of Kant and Habermas on human dignity as the ontological basis of political rights2025-01-14T17:47:42+00:00Héctor Rafael Espinozahrafaelespinoza@gmail.com
The study examines the interrelation between human dignity and political rights from the perspectives of Immanuel Kant and Jürgen Habermas. The primary objective was to explore human dignity, understood as an ontological principle grounded in rational and moral autonomy, which manifests through political rights, enabling individuals to participate in public life and the construction of a democracy based on mutual respect and equality. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive and analytical documentary design, based on the analysis of legal texts, relevant academic literature, and international instruments such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and the American Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man (1948). These normative frameworks reinforce the connection between political rights and human dignity as essential pillars of a just and democratic society. The results highlight that political rights are more than mechanisms for electoral participation; they are the concrete expression of autonomy and the intrinsic value of each person, facilitating the construction of an inclusive and equitable political environment. Furthermore, the importance of dialogue and consensus, as proposed by Habermas, is underscored to ensure that political decisions reflect collective will and strengthen democratic principles. In conclusion, human dignity not only underpins political rights but also materializes through them, promoting more just and cohesive societies. The study emphasizes the need for joint commitment from institutions, citizens, and the international community to protect and strengthen these rights, ensuring their full exercise within a democratic order based on equality and mutual respect
2025-01-01T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) https://produccioncientificaluz.org./index.php/fronesis/article/view/43265Episteme of human rights as a conceptual framework for evaluating formal and informal social control practices2025-01-14T18:16:03+00:00Tamara Mejías de Valerotamaradevalero@gmail.com
This study analyzes the impact of formal and informal social control mechanisms on the promotion and protection of human rights in the context of political, economic, and social tensions. From a hermeneutic-legal approach, it examines practices such as state surveillance, the instrumentalization of laws, and the implementation of control technologies, identifying their relationship with fundamental guarantees. The research highlights the episteme of human rights as a critical framework capable of balancing security demands with respect for human dignity, emphasizing the need to articulate strategies that prevent exclusion and promote justice. It also addresses the challenges associated with formal control mechanisms, such as the restriction of fundamental freedoms, and explores universal values as guides for these policies toward more inclusive and rights-respecting approaches. The study concludes that formal and informal social control mechanisms, far from being neutral tools, directly influence the dynamics of human rights promotion and protection. Therefore, it proposes the episteme of human rights as an indispensable tool for analyzing and redesigning these practices, promoting structural changes that contribute to more just and democratic societies
2025-01-01T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c)
